Psaki The youngest of three children was born in Stamford in Connecticut to Eileen (nee Dolan), Medvey[8] and Dimitrios (Greek) R. Psaki. Dimitrios, an ex-real estate developer was the grandpa of Eileen, who had emigrated from Greece in 1904. His mother was of Irish descent. In the year 1976, her parents were married. Psaki also has Polish ancestry.Psaki graduated from Greenwich High School in 1996. She graduated from the College of William & Mary in 2000 with a degree both in English and sociology. She is a member of the Chi Omega sorority. At William & Mary, Psaki was a backstroke athlete with the William & Mary Tribe athletic team for two years. Psaki began her career in 2001 with the re-election campaigns for Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki was then appointed as the press secretary deputy for John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. Psaki was also communications director for Joseph Crowley in the U.S. and as the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee from 2005 until 2006. MSNBC has announced Psaki as an analyst in the 2022 United States Elections and during the 2024 presidential campaign. In 2023 she will host an online Peacock streaming show on MSNBC. [3535 Psaki was the first person to appear on television after she left her position as White House Press Secretary for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
